Would recommend to anyone I know wanting a road or gravel bike to see these guys. Used them before and 100% when the time comes to upgrade I will be going back to them. New store is really smart, and reflects them as a business. Thanks again to the lads at VB

It’s moved around with me since then but has mainly spent the last few years in the shed with a dodgy chainset and shot breaks. The team at Velo had to do some deep research to find the parts that would work to bring it back to life. The transformation is incredible, the machine is now better than it was when new, it could easily manage another 2000 mile adventure even if it’s owner couldn’t…

I collected the Merida on a Friday afternoon and I was itching to get out on it on the Saturday, as I was flying on the Sunday for 2 weeks holiday.
I thought I’d go for my usual 20km around the block, just so I had been on the bike before I went away.
Here’s where my review starts; the bike is extremely comfy, I did read up on the bike and viewed YouTube videos on the bike/manufacture before I purchased it and the comfort was mentioned, which is due to its frame design, S flex seat carbon seat post and the 28mm tyres, so I was expecting it to be a little different to my other bike which is an older Cervelo S5, but the Marida is so comfy I ended up doing 70km, with decent elevation and pot holes all over the place, and the Merida handled it all extremely well, it’s quick, comfy lightweight and very pliable over the poor UK roads.

Recently purchased a new bike from Velo Bavarian and the service they provided couldn’t be faulted. Luke was happy to go through everything with me and I ended up with exactly what I wanted. No hard sell to move me to something else for more money.
I knew exactly when the bike would be ready and was set up as I asked. They have restored my faith in the LBS and would definitely recommend them to anyone who appreciates good customer service.

Whilst searching online for a Cervelo Soloist I came across Velo Bavarian. They were local, had the bike in my size, in stock and in their sale. Perfect! So I called up and agreed a time to view the bike.
I’m quite selective about who I buy from so did some due diligence online about the shop and as well as seeing a lot of positive feedback from VB customers and team members, I was especially impressed with what I read about the inclusive, social and welcoming community they’ve built via the race team and social rides. I decided this was just what I needed to get myself excited about riding a bike again after struggling with motivation for a couple of years, so took the plunge, joined up and became a VB member.
