Nice site. Pretty well stocked fishing pool (carp and roach) . We liked it and even stayed an extra night. Bins and toilet emptying point quite away from touring fields but plenty of drinking water taps dotted around. Toilets and showers ok. A fairly tight turn from entrance to camping areas at top end but easy to bottom field. Plenty of turning areas though. Security barrier for in and out. We were on a pitch by the road so some noise but not so much at the weekend. We chose to pitch there as it was a quieter area of the site and the views were lovely. There were a few tents on adjacent pitches but it still felt relaxed.

Stayed here for four nights. The hosts were friendly and very helpful. They live on site. Large hardstanding fully serviced pitch with a large grass area. There was some traffic noise from the nearby road but it didn’t disturb us. There’s access to two large fields where you can let dogs run unless of course there’s livestock in them. There wasn’t when we went. Accommodation includes glamping pods by the fishing lake and permanently sited private caravans. There’s a well stocked shop. Facilities were clean and available at all times other than a period for cleaning. Would recommend it and would return if back I’m the area.

Stayed for 3 nights camping and the site was great . The scenery was amazing and the facilities were good , the owners were great and very welcoming . Went fishing in there lake ,what a lovely water a fish every cast ,if you don’t catch a fish you must not be using a rod and reel . Will be looking to go back later this year if not definitely next year . THANKYOU for your hospitality.

Great that we could get 1 night in a campervan (most places minimum 3 nights). Gravel pitch with grass at side. On a slope so need to level your van.
Toilets, shower and washing up area.
There was a fishing lake but maybe due to it being end of March and soggy ground, didn’t notice anyone fishing.
Small shop which sold food, camp fire supplies.
The site seemed to mainly be made up of more permanent pitches with the top plot for people visiting.
No play area and kids under 11 not to be unsupervised around the fishing lake. That being said, the kids all made friends and played together around the vans.
    Basic, clean and friendly.
