Showing 5 reviews Rating:4 Really enjoyed shopping at the market stalls. Nice to see the market place used as it’s purpose. Bought a wonderfully tasty pie, which sorted dinner for that day. Great to support local businesses.

0 You have already voted! Rating:5 Nice old fashioned cobblestone market place that comes alive when something is on. Farmers market last Saturday in the month, makers markets and music events as well as Carols around the tree at Xmas.

0 You have already voted! Rating:3 Small and only a market once per month. Parking isn’t bad with a decent sized car park adjacent.

0 You have already voted! Rating:5 Great space for specialist markets or community activities such as drama and music. Bijou but pleasant location full of character and history . Also has a spacious general parking area to the rear and some disabled spaces on the market itself. Some good local pubs with outside seating. Handy for the top end of the high street with a good selection of shops.

Update 2024: Visited the farmers market AND makers market this past weekend, both wonderful, amazing meeting local sellers and eating local produce. I bought another pie! And some tasty scotch eggs (there were so many flavours to choose from, and he threw another in for free!)
