Showing 7 reviews Rating:5 Perfect location for walking and exploring the Jurassic coast. We were a large group of walkers who booked several properties. All of them were clean and well equipped. Perfect place to relax after a days hiking. The owners were really helpful and provided books on local walks and even gave everyone some massage foot creams ! We felt well catered for in every way.

0 You have already voted! Rating:5 Perfect in every way What a jewel of a place We stayed in Blackbird cottage in December. It was beautifully de heated clean warm and cozy. We loved coming back from exploring to such a lovely place a real home from home, The owners had sent us lots of ideas for things to do and places to eat. Highly recommend for any weather or time of year There’s lots to do, walking the beaches are lovely and wd hound beautiful villages and quaint towns

0 You have already voted! Rating:4 Stayed in the Swallow cottage. Everything you needed in the cottage, lovely modern shower. Even tea, coffee and sugar. Only disappointment was the swimming pool/hot tub (hot tub being the reason we booked). Advertised on Premier Cottages as ‘ Bubbling Hot Tub’. Spoke to the owner to find out how to operate the hot tub to be told there is no hot tub and hasn’t been for 10 years! So if it’s a hot tub you are wanting this isn’t the place for you

0 You have already voted! Rating:4 We stayed in the farmhouse at Champernhayes. My kids loved the pool although it is very small and none of the jets were working. The farmhouse is beautiful inside and out but sadly a little damp which meant food did go off quite quickly and clothes did not dry indoors. Lovely bedrooms with nice linens and towels. I think the cleaners missed some corners in the kitchen but overall very clean and nice. Would really benefit from some more bits in the kitchen including weighing scales! We met the hosts who were lovely and tried to fix any problems straight away.

0 You have already voted! Rating:4 Great place for family holiday , there is 5 bedroom and small swimming pool is good enough , better than nothing ( also swimming pool areas smell dump) . We have few problems at the beginning of stay , as the heating maybe in the wrong settings so one of the bedroom downstairs it’s freezing feels like living in the cave.

We hired the whole site in June 2021 as accommodation for our guests attending our wedding.
It was the perfect venue for a family gathering or celebration
The properties are surrounded by beautiful countryside.
We stayed in the Barn with a lovely four poster bed which was special.
The hosts were so helpful and made our stay feel like we owned the place !
They were helpful and thoughtful providing flowers throughout the properties and a lovely wedding present for us.
We held BBQs on the lawn over looking the valley.
It was lovely to feel surrounded by all our close friends and family on such a special Occasion.
Thank you for making our wedding perfect.

It’s in a great location, quiet and peaceful, but only 7 Min drive away from Charmouth and in easy reach of Lyme Regis too.

There were only 2 things which we had to address with Karen. The temperature on the Aga was not high enough and it took very long time to cook. The shower downstairs was very slow. That said When I called Karen see immediately sent maintenance to get it fixed.
The place was so very clean and welcoming.
It was home from home with lots of space, fully furnished with everything you need.
We are looking to go back next year, I would highly recommend The Barn such a very peaceful with beautiful place to relax and unwind with breath taking scenery.

Great side living areas fit to 10 -12 people . The second day staying , found that the bathroom is leaking and go through downstairs floors . Not cheap prices for self catering accommodation.
But we’ll , it’s great for big families together
Not far to Lyme Regis that’s is something to enjoy . Otherwise nothing else I can said
