Rating:4 The house is quite expansive and the gent playing piano knew what he was doing, it really set the mood. A couple of nice loops to walk which are guided by large maps at certain points. One was a nice woodland walk. The giant greenhouse and vegetable garden are well worth a look. Would be five stars but a slight lack of staff and activities away from the main areas (compared to some other sites) kept it from being perfect, perhaps this was due to it being Winter. First time I’ve seen a reusable plastic cup service for the hot drinks. This is nice to see.

Rating:4 Amazing place, Christmas house was beautiful, actors were amazing as were the choir, forest playground dens were great fun, grounds are so nice and it didn’t rain . Only criticism was a lack of normal bins. Lots of cup bins around but no normal ones apart from in the toilets. There were also horse and carriage rides, horses were massive and beautiful.

Rating:4 Beautiful NT property & gardens. Lovely autumn colours. Cafe & toilets at the beginning and also later on. Volunteers really informative & friendly. 4 stars as the first time we came we were turned down due to no car park spaces – and when we came today the house was partially closed.

Weekend
As members we enjoyed free parking and free entry and we’re free to enter the house.
As always, we we’re amazed by the grandure of the building and wowed by the decoration and furniture therein.
Volunteers were dotted about ready to divulge relative historical information and funny facts about Tyntesfield.
The gardens, stables and orangery were a treat to look around, and there is even a cafe or two to enjoy refreshments.
Other than the shop, there was also a second hand book shoo. Nice touch.
