A homely comforting experience with coffee and good honest fellowship. Books are cheaper than most charity shops and an exceedingly wide selection

This is a superb independent second hand bookshop with a wide range of books, vinyl, CDs, DVDs and a small selection of gifts and jewellery. Very reasonable prices, and friendly staff too. You can get a tea/coffee and biscuits and relax for a little reading or chatting time. Definitely worth a visit and you might end up staying for a while!

A small bookshop, densely packed with books of every genre, with friendly and welcoming staff to greet anyone upon arrival. I visit every couple of months to pick up something new, and am always subsequently introduced to different authors. Most books are priced between £1 – £3.

This is an amazing bookshop and a must for bookworms. I have only just discovered this shop and it is now among my favourite in the UK. It is an Aladdin’s cave of books, with walls bursting with stock and the range of titles is just incredible. There is an especially good stock of literary books, history, rail and Christian titles. The staff are warm and welcoming, offering you a hot drink on arrival and showing you where to find different sections. One unusual aspect of the shop is that the books aren’t priced but instead they will give you (a very reasonable) price once you have made your selection. This is fine but I probably would have spent more had I been able to add up as I went along. I can’t wait to come back here when I am back in Northamptonshire.

Beautiful second hand book store, a huge collection of different genres. The owner greeted us at the door and directed us to the different areas. Very very knowledgeable on the books and the history of the older books. Was offered a drink on arrival and was provided with biscuits. Each book we brought was priced on the spot and incredibly reasonable. Needless to say we will be back if not for the books then for the shopping experience.
