Showing 5 reviews Rating:5 Stayed at this site over Spring Bank Holiday 2024. It’s a flat well maintained site perfectly situated close to the village and canal. Pitches are mainly grass with limited hard standing areas. The dustbins/recycling are emptied daily by the owners and there is a bin for dog poo. There is a fresh water tap easily accessible for motorhomes and an elson point with short hose for rinsing your cassette. Stoke Bruerne is a pretty village with thatched cottages and the canal. 2 great pubs a canal museum and cafe and boat trips on the weekends.

Rating:3 Could do with more hardstanding the ground was soft and uneven luckily I’ve got 4 wheel drive otherwise I would of got stuck! The elsan point was disgusting a 10 foot sess pit I’ve a strong stomach I nearly threw up! The entrance is a little tricky to get out of £14 a night for an off grid is a bit steep look better online.. The upside is it location next to canal and pubs 2 mins away fairly easy to get to from motorway with a little work and upgrade this would bit a gem of a place

Rating:5 Great little CL right next to the pub. Clean and spacious. Elsan, water and recycling available. No electric hook up, £12 per night. Responsive owner. Some road noise but not noticeable. Would stay again ⭐️

Rating:4 Very nice site alongside the Grand Union Canal, with easy access to the canal for walkers and cyclist and two wonderful pubs the Navigation and The Boat Inn, both service excellent food with canal side seating. There is also an Indian restaurant alongside the canal, The Canal Museum, and a small canal shop, waterside cafe and a very nice 5 mile walk around the countryside shown below. This site is nicely located not far from Towcester for shopping, petrol and a selection of supermarkets or you are not far from Northampton main town. Located not far from the main M1 making this site an excellent stop over if you are traveling up/down the country.
