    Ease of booking from start to finish was effortless with no problem at all. Hire van was ideal & done the job required. Happy to use Europcar again.

    I picked up a car second time. Everything was alright.

    Vauxhall Crossland X suspension is stiff, and engine a little bit weak, not really enough for highway.
    If you hire it, you can reduce inflation of the tyres, this will help to make overall car suspension softer.

    I am a Europcar Privilege Elite customer – so I am eligible for double upgrade.

    Went here to pick up my car, which I booked for 28 days. I went at 2pm and the booking was for 11am.

    They offered a car downgraded from what I paid for and then blamed me coz I came to pick up late.

    How do you blame a customer – if you can’t provide a car being a car rental company. It was prepaid. PREPAID. So you cannot give me car to someone else even if I am a day late let alone a few hours.

    Awful service.

    I asked for cancellation which they said they will but will not give me confirmation at site and still haven’t recd an email.

    So bad. Staff etiquette and training is ZERO.

    I urgently needed to hire a vehicle and contacted Europcar Northampton at 10am. The contract was done, funds were removed from my account and I was told to collect the vehicle at 2pm At 1pm I was contacted by Europcar to say they had ‘no vehicles’ and if I wanted I could get a refund. Obviously with no car available to give I chose a refund. I was first told there would be a cancellation fee. I said I would no pay this because it is your error not mine. I was put on hold for more than 10 minutes, eventually told that there would be no cancellation fee but that my refund would take 20 to 30 working days to be done. It took 20 to 30 seconds to take my money off my account. (It is 23 days and I am still waiting for my refund).

    After I put the phone down I called Enterprise Car Hire. Within one hour I had my vehicle. The service was amazing and quick. And I needed to extend keeping the car. I called them, and within 2 minutes (over the phone) it was done with no issues.

    First of all, the greeting experience was ok, although we had to wait almost 15 minutes before being seen, and then it was rushed, and I had to take pictures outside of the office in order to catalogue the marks that I found on the vehicle that weren’t listed on the disclaimer. The side door constantly jumped off of its rails when used and needed special attention to close, a fault that wasn’t mentioned at the initial hire time…
    But more importantly, it takes you way too long for you to release the deposit money given in the first instance… I have hired with many other companies, and by far this is the longest I have had to wait for my deposit back… I cannot recommend you for this reason… so far it has been a week and I still haven’t recieved my deposit back… is this attributed to the returns process…?
    Next time I will hire from Enterprise again… they honestly don’t mess about with people’s money like Europcar do&#...
