I wasn’t sure if I wanted to go to uni in 2023 so I decided to do the foundation diploma in art and design (as it’s free for under 19s) and because I’d heard a lot of positive comments about this course. To say I am disappointed is an understatement. I found out that this course used to be run by the university rather than college, was better funded and more students applied to it. Compared the the 100+ students who used to be on this course there were 13 on mine most of which didn’t turn up (understandably so) The art department did not provide us with a base room so we had to carry our work everywhere, considering I live 45 minutes away, if I forgot something I couldn’t just ask to pop home and grab it. Most of the staff were unenthusiastic, overly critical and disengaged with students work and would spend whole lessons on Facebook on their laptops. I felt intimidated to as for help or to use certain facilities because staff were not accommodating. I know this course is meant to prep...

Was horrendously bullied by a “teacher” in the drama department named Helen during my time here. I was 16 and newly living in a halfway house due to being removed from an abusive home. I would take a 45 minute bus every day, yet she would give me an instant disciplinary if a bus was late, pulled me from tour because I had an emergency dentist appointment (my face was visibly twice it’s usual size), one time she tried to goad me in front of the whole class and I didn’t react, so she disciplined me for ‘looking at her funny’. You can’t make this up! What’s more there was a girl in my class named Lauren who she adored and would give a free pass for missing days often. Lauren and I were friends so there’s no resentment towards her. Shockingly, she was backed up by head of department Julie, who as office staff never took an interest in any student, and not one of them ever sat me down and asked if I was okay. I went to a disciplinary wit...

DO NOT GO TO THIS COLLEGE!!!
This is by far the worst college I’ve ever seen, they don’t care about student mental health.
They are always after your money, and care more about the money than a genuine education. All this college cares about is making money, and looking good!!

We went there on a school trip. There was this lady with blonde hair and blue eyes and wore black clothes called mrs styles, and she says yeah a lot. Due to this i told her to stop and stayed a lot of feet from her at times because it was annoying to me (my dad does it and so do a few of my friends. I think it’s a trend that started a few years ago). A bad experience!
