Just sold an old PS2 and some games and the service was great – really quick and friendly.

My recent visit to CeX in Northampton left me with a mixed bag of impressions. On the positive side, the store boasts an extensive selection of electronics, games, and gadgets, making it a haven for tech enthusiasts. Navigating through the neatly organized shelves was relatively easy, and the staff seemed knowledgeable and ready to assist.

However, the atmosphere in the store felt a bit chaotic, possibly due to the sheer volume of products packed into the space. It could benefit from better organization or perhaps more spacious layout to enhance the overall shopping experience.

The pricing at CeX varies; some items offer fantastic deals, while others seem a bit steep, leaving me with the feeling of inconsistency. The condition of pre-owned items also ranged widely, so thorough inspection is advisable before making a purchase.

The checkout process was efficient, and the staff handled transactions promptly. On the downside, the lack of a dedicated waiting area for customers could be i...

One star because I can’t award them half of it or 0. The customer service is awful. When you’re selling something they behave like you’re a thief.
I came two times with the same laptop. First time they wanted to buy it but it was missing a screw, second time after I found the screw they made the claim its misbehaving although it just sat in a drawer between the times. They clearly pick and choose customers based on their own personal standards. Their checking processes are not systematic at all just vibes. If clearly if you’re a foreigner you’re not welcomed here.

Alright, let me break it down for you about my trip to CeX, and trust me, it’s a story worth telling. Picture this: You walk into CeX, right, and bam! It’s like you’ve been sucked into a techy black hole and spat back out in the golden era of Nokia 3310s and PS2s.

First off, the vibes in CeX are absolutely mental. It’s like every gadget from the last two decades threw a party and forgot to go home. You’ve got phones so old, I half expected to find a carrier pigeon for sale. And the games! It’s like my childhood memories exploded onto the shelves. I mean, come on, where else can you find a game you last played while avoiding homework and eating cereal for dinner?

The tunes in the shop are a straight-up banger. It’s like the playlist was curated by a DJ who time-traveled from the 90s to now. One minute you’re jamming to the Spice Girls, next thing you know, it’s Stormzy. My head was bobbing so much, I almost headbutted a shelf of DV...
