The people at Toolstation at St. James are so friendly and helpful and I always get fantastic service, especially Gary. He gave me great advice and support with my small DIY job, something that was really daunting for me. Gary gave me the confidence that I could do it… and I did. So thank you so much!
Also the prices are good too. My go-to store!

There was a fraudulent charge made on my bank from them and when I reached out I was told I couldn’t be given a refund because they don’t “handle” fraud and then was told to go to my bank and the police. I then fell in to overdraft because of their negligence to resolve the issue and refund my money. I have no experience with them outside of this issue but seeing how they handle common issues like this… I’m glad I don’t.

Helpful staff and great range of products. Staff each time helped me look for items I couldn’t find and gave me advice.

Always absolute brilliant service from these guys. I’m just a DIY’er, so not in there as much as guys in the trade, but you know it’s great service when the staff remember your name. Definitely worthy of 5 stars!

Very helpful and useful staff. The guy on the till was really patient with me as I was after an multi-purpose grease and didn’t knew which to pick. He showed me various options and even helped to decide which is best.
Will definitely come back and recommend to all our friends and family.
Five stars service for the guy on the till (sorry, didn’t get his name, a young dark and curly hair, very tall and fit).
