Awful. Zero communication. Lies from head of year. Zero pastoral care. Generally no support or encouragement. I ended up taking my daughter out to home school, while we await new school allocation. This was recent, May 2022 when I removed my daughter.

i honestly appreciate the fact that DRET are trying to give us, students a better education. But being successful isn’t only having a good handwriting, good grades etc. But its also about a good mental health, and yes i know school tries their best on making the MAA the best school in northampton. Unfortunately there has been quite a few too many changes over the past 2 months, i know it seems childish but it really does stress the students out. Maybe we should have more time to process there rules, and DRET should understand this that we cant be perfect. The bag rule, i understand it. Its for our safety, but we should think of the dangers of it, People could trip over the stairs and fall down, which thats very dangerous. Roll call, yes i understand the rule but is there really a specific reason more then “trying to calm us down” ? The freshly made new rule, now we cant have lunch with our friends, Students do suffer from anxiety and we do struggle to make friends. ...

Its a very mistreating school and only the people liked by teachers are treated better.
Its really unfair by saying the truth that you went on a holiday you get finned but when u lie that you were ill every one believes you even though u clearly went on a holiday you (cuz you’re tanned) don’t get finned.
    I’m quitting this school bullcrap

I wanted to put no stars but the lowest is one so I had to put one. the school is terrible the maac department doesn’t care about the students in the later years. also bullying is such a big issue and they care more about uniform than bullying. DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD TO THIS SCHOOL!!!!!!!!!!!

I was taught in this school from year 7-11 and I wasn’t taught well by half of the teachers who taught me. Miss Nti, Mr Gboyoki, Mr Lorford etc. Their experience in teaching seemed to be horrific and they didn’t seem to concern about the students education. Bullying was an issue that was never solved and only one teacher seemed concern.
