Showing 5 reviews Rating:3 Defo needs an upgrade. Friendly staff. Bar was ok and beer on the pump was fairly priced plus tasted quality. Loads of broken tiles in our bathroom harbouring many germs no doubt. Breakfast plates, hard to find one not chipped. Come on Ibis, sort the tiles and plates out at least.

0 You have already voted! Rating:1 Truly awful stay. Won’t be back. This used to be a decent hotel and it’s in a good location. But some of the rooms are in need of a revamp. They are dirty . Stained and the carpets are thin..horrible and smelly. Bed was quite uncomfortable.

0 You have already voted! Rating:1 Baby cot was not arranged in the room for a family room which was requested during booking which is not an issue but i was surprised when they said they didn’t know about our request.

Great central location, 5-10 mins walk to the town centre.
Room was spacious, comfortable and clean.
Car parking is £8 per 24 hours.
Reception staff who checked me in was very polite, professional and helpful.
Bathroom could do with a little update, but still comfortable enough.
Could be a little noisy if you have a room overlooking the main road, but with the window closed it is not a problem.
Plenty of cafes, restaurants and shops nearby.
Fully recommendable If you need to stay in Northampton!

We called reception to complain about loud people outside of our room shouting. Talking loudly, partying and slamming doors at 4am ! But only got the option to leave voicemail which we did and nothing happened. Dread to think what would happen in an emergency. Hotel needs to sort it’s swipe cards out..they never work and then you get the blame when you ask them to check it.
You can’t use the lift or get into the room so really important that they work. Won’t be back!

My wife had to be at the University next morning and I requested during check in if they can allow me and baby to stay little longer with the baby incase my wife couldn’t return before check out time so that i could stay in the room with baby rather than roaming on the street in cold with luggage and baby. He was like, “if I pay I can. £10 charge every hour. Let me know how many hours you need. 3 hours , 5 hours.”
What he said is not wrong. But what I didn’t like was the way he spoke. We didn’t felt welcomed at all. He was not rude and didn’t say anything wrong. But he gave that impression that made us feel we are not welcome there or I shouldn’t have request for late check out.
Anyway, next morning we checked out on time.

Beds were small but comfortable. Bathrooms clean but no hand towels were provided. Bath towels were so soft!
Staff are lovely but we did have issues with needing to have keys reset a number of times. Also told at check in that hotel bar was open until 2am. They actually served later than that but you could not buy anything between 130am and 2am due to hotel system resetting in this half hour.
Good 24 hour food menu.
