Location and service we’re 10/10. Room was big, super clean and comfortable. Bits of wear and tear but to be expected. The chap on reception was super helpful and friendly and the location was central and perfect. Great value also.

My stay at Travelodge Northampton was a mixed experience, with both positives and areas for improvement. Situated in a convenient location with easy access to the city center, the hotel offers affordability and accessibility to travelers.

One of the highlights of my stay was the seamless check-in process. The staff at the reception were friendly and efficient, making the arrival experience pleasant and hassle-free. The lobby area was clean and well-maintained, creating a welcoming first impression.

However, upon entering the room, I noticed that while it was clean, it felt somewhat outdated in terms of decor and furnishings. The bed was comfortable enough for a good night’s sleep, but the overall ambiance lacked a modern touch.

In terms of amenities, the hotel provided the basics needed for a comfortable stay, including tea and coffee-making facilities and complimentary toiletries. However, I found the lack of additional amenities such as a minibar or fitness center to be some...

This is a basic older hotel in the centre of Northampton but for me was suitable for my needs. It was in easy walking distance to the university and I enjoyed a quiet and comfortable stay for 4 days while on my induction. Although basic, my room was very clean and quiet. The reception staff were fabulous. Massive shout out to Sunny who went over and beyond in sorting an issue out on my behalf with the local taxi firm. He made me feel very safe and looked after, being a single woman staying alone. My overall review is good, clean, comfy bed and spotless bedding, quiet and nice and warm. I wanted something near to the uni on a budget and that’s what I got.

Not a good experience generally. Arrived to be told the lift was broken and there were 4 sets of stairs to go up with luggage. The good side was that the receptionist carried my case. But then another guest with a loud voice was on the phone on the corridor outside my room for ages. Finally, in the morning, someone left a bag of rubbish outside my door.

Terrible. Booked to stay here and came to our room to a bucket outside my door catching a leak from the ceiling, horrid smells of B.O, stains all over the place, someone else’s pubic hairs all over the shower and people next to us smoking in their room. Told reception we want to move rooms, were given another room with all the exact issues as the previous except the smoking issue. Told them we want a refund as won’t be staying in this dirty hotel. They gave me a number to complain to but no refund offered. Stayed at the ibis up the road which was infinitely better and CLEAN. Very sketchy feel to this travelodge and filthy. Down £60 though and an extra £104 for the last minute ibis booking. Very disappointing. Do not stay here if you want a clean room.
