Showing 5 reviews Rating:5 I was a long-term, delighted customer of A-Plan, so was a little concerned when Howdens took over. I would not have thought that the service could improve, but it has. I regularly advise car and bike club members not to mess with online insurance where your details don’t exactly match the online questions – that’s potential trouble for the future – no, talk to a solidly professional broker who listens, asks the right questions, explains what’s on offer and talks to underwriters if there’s anything to clarify.

Update: Already have trike insured so didn’t hesitate to contact Howden to see if they could beat my car insurance renewal. Spoke with Katie R. She was knowledgeable, friendly and went the extra mile agreeing to try different options to get me their best policy and price. Katie rang me back earlier than expected with a great policy. Happily recommend them.

I needed a Liability insurance policy for a path which doesn’t appear on the Deeds at my holiday let cottage, and over which 6 other property owners and guests can walk. I was able to talk with Lewis of Howdens who worked hard to secure a Land Liability policy-something I had never heard of before. Over a number of weeks I talked with Lewis, and he was always enthusiastic, friendly, professional and knowledgeable. I highly recommend Lewis and his team.
