Rating:5 Although the area this library is located in isn’t very impressive, the building itself is brilliant — at least the interior is (the outside looks like the other pebbledash buildings in the street).

Rating:4 Small library but plenty of books and resource material. Staff can gain books from other libraries in Northampton if not available on their shelves. Great childrens reading area and activities also available for all ages. Gem of a place.

This small library is presumably a converted church and the best thing about it is the timber ceiling.
There’s a kids area at one end, public computers at the other, a helpdesk and noticeboard by the door.
The staff I met (a middle aged guy) aren’t particularly friendly but I’m not complaining as I rate highly public libraries as a valuable community resource and I suspect this one is run by local volunteers.
Long may it live!

Small building but felt very cosy. My favourite thing was how easy it is to print. You just have to email the printer and if sends you back a code, then you punch the code in and pay 20p per black and white side. Cash only.
