Rating:3 It’s a lovely place – we love it, as does our two year old. I do think that Rhyme Time or whatever activities should not take over the children’s section. It wouldn’t happen in the adults section – imagine – all closed for the knit and natter! It should be accessible. Either a different space or not so precious about not dropping in or being allowed in once it’s started …

Rating:1 The children’s section is nice, but the staff were rude to me and my mum when we arrived with my toddler. As soon as we walked in, they said “you can’t come in to Rhyme Time, because you’re late” which we weren’t there for. They wouldn’t let my child use the children’s section. Perhaps the class should be in a private space, rather than public library if they don’t want any of the public coming in.
