As a boating visitor looking for overnight night mooring all facilities are a 10 minutes walk away on the other side of security gate in the aquadome camping & caravan site, two shower blocks shared with god knows how many other campers and caravaners, two different swipe cards failed to open the gate, couldn’t give me one that worked, so we had to rely on kindness of the residential boaters to let us back in. Worst was the visitor moorings we were sent to, our narrow boat got gounded on entrance, had to be helped to new mooring by resident who told us that the management know it needs dredging but won’t do it, resulting in lots of stuck boat’s that the residents help out. Will not go back.

0 You have already voted! Rating:2 It is a marina, lots of narrow boats there. As we visited in autumn, there was nothing going on. There is an amusement arcade very close by that breaks any enjoyment you might get from walking near water and boats. Just be hell in summer.
