Rating:5 This is a tiny museum absolutely crammed with finds from the site. Parking on the road but not a problem. There is a small admission fee. I can’t recall whether there’s a ramp to enter. The curators are lovely local people with lots of info to share about the villa and the finds. There are toilets at the museum.

Rating:5 I give this site 5 stars, but please keep in mind what it actually is there. The ruins are totally present, but to my untrained eye they are not what I’d consider spectacular. It is impressive to stand in what used to be a roman villa. The walls are quite visible and you can imagine the shape of the rooms. As of June 2021 the site is totally accessible although Maps says it’s temporarily closed. There is this container next to the site, which might have been the ticketing office, but looks worse than the archaeological site and has probably been abandoned years ago. My 2 cents is look at the pics and if you’re in for a walk, this place is about 800m accross the fields from the Church on the corner of Piddington village

The villa site is quite a walk away in a field, but it was a lovely walk. A magical place to explore freely. I’ll be going again.
