Showing 5 reviews Rating:5 A great venue. We watched Jim Davidson and it was packed with 900 people. Long queue for the toilets and the bars. If you’re going best allow plenty of time to park. We allowed 50mins and we had ten minutes before the show… It’s worth noting that if you park in the multi storey behind the theatre you can pay at the exit so do t ques with hundreds of people to pay at the two machines.

0 You have already voted! Rating:5 Absolutely amazing night for the Christmas Panto Cinderella. Thank you, the stage, lighting , effects everything was outstanding. The cast just brilliant, so funny, great audience participation. Loved Seeing Candy Couture! Got a soaking by Buttons and the Ugly Sisters had us rolling around with laughter. Fantastic night, amazing detail. One for all the family. Must see!!!

0 You have already voted! Rating:5 Such a welcoming theatre, with a classic vibe. The old ‘art deco’ cinema is an impressive building with some wonderful period features. It’s not overly pricy and puts on a great Christmas panto! Parking for the the theatre is just round the back at the St Michael’s multi storey.

Rating:5 What a wonderful old theater house like a step back in time greated at the door by a wonderfully polite mannered usher suited and booted showed us where to check In and escorted us to the way we had to go to our seats all the old style seats original ones not the greatest but a great experience like the old days great decor around

The view from the circle was good and you had a relatively comfortable seat however leg room was tight.
Don’t forget to take your distance glasses if you wear them as you will need them

Fabulous cast and repertoire.
The Old Savoy was my old cinema many years ago.
The beautiful interior has been preserved and the decor and festive decorations made it all very festive.

I would say on the whole it was a fantastic experience would go again when something of intrest comes up
