0 You have already voted! Rating:5 Recently had my Mk 2 Escort mapped at Northampton motorsport, its runs a 1600 Vauxhall 16v Engine. They did a great job, experienced and friendly staff, I highly recommend using them, I will certainly be going back in the future when I need the car re-mapped.

Rating:5 After hearing much praise regarding Northampton Motorsport and especially their director, Troy, I decided to book my Caterham in for a new ECU and full mapping session. From initial contact, Troy was superb with his lengthy and informative responses, and was happy to answer the multitude of questions I had.

Steve (!) did a brilliant job at setting it up the timing and tuning, fixing a couple of minor faults along the way. He then pointed me at other non-tuning work that will need doing in the future, including recomending a specialist who can do it.
Brilliant service, first-class results. highly recommended.

A day or so before the session, Troy contacted me to let me know that unfortunately he couldn’t be there for my pre-booked session, however I’d be in good hands with Alex for the afternoon. I was a bit apprehensive about this, however I absolutely needn’t have been; Alex, although young, was absolutely superb. A thorough professional, happy to talk me through what he was doing and involve me, but also happy to crack on with the workload. And it was quite the workload, with me being there for over 5 hours as Alex wanted to ensure we got the various configs absolutely spot on.
And the end result has transformed the way my Caterham drives, adding in a welcome layer ...
