Showing 5 reviews Rating:2 I’ve had a tumour growing behind my eye since I was a child pushing my left eye out, I am now in my late 30s, I went to another opticians, they noticed it, a year later, I had the tumour removed from the nerve behind my eye, so it’s called schwannoma and now I am waiting to be tested for NF, so it’s wasn’t an out of shape and watching TV it was a tumour, I read up on NF etc, I could of got support in school but no, I’m a “”local””

A professional, skilled and comprehensive test – the most complete I have ever experienced. Full explanation of my eye health in a way I could understand. A wide selection of frames, advice on selecting the most suitable and fitted with care. Highly recommended.

My eye test was very thorough, they certainly know what they are doing. Great choice of frames too and great value. I will definitely be returning and would recommend Mark Darling Opticians to everyone

Mark stayed past closing times to assist myself after i had taken a blow to the right eye, then further referring myself to the hospital in which he had contacted directly to let them know I was heading there and to be seen immediately.
Massive thanks to Mark and colleagues to seeing me on such short notice, a business that handled the whole situation with a positive professional attitude and outstanding customer service!
