Showing 5 reviews Rating:1 Ordered a few dishes amongst which was “Duck in plum sauce” which wasn’t Duck in plum sauces, which I realised after I got home and since I went there late night I didn’t went back to address the matter because me and my girl were hungry. We don’t normally buy from this place but decided to based on a flyer that I’ve found in the mail box and was sparkly and professional made – don’t buy based on marketing (lesson learned). Not to say that all other things that we ordered (eg. Chicken Balls in Sweet and Sour Sauce) weren’t great – at least not as great as you can find them at our favourite place China Spice. Also unable to pay by card so had to go to nearby ASDA ATM, and not easy to find a parking spot unless you park at ASDA which at that hour didn’t considered as we were looking for a quick in and out and get home in time and the food doesn’t cool down. 0 You have already voted! Rating:1 Ordered a takeaway and had to call after it was delivered. It was absolutely disgusting, dry and clearly from an Iceland party buffet packet. Avoid this hell hole at all costs. Disgusting packet food

0 You have already voted! Rating:1 The food I ordered from Ruby was not up to the standard I would expect from a takeaway. I ordered Chicken with Cashew Nuts and Vegetarian Singapore Chow Mein which looks totally different from the picture on the menu, it looks disgusting and tastes like cleaning products and doesn’t even look fresh, my stomach started to hurt. I called them and a man answered me who kept telling me that I received what I ordered and that the pictures are just for presentation an arrogant man with whom I did not clarify anything until the end he just hung up the phone, I wouldn’t recommend The Ruby and I certainly wouldn’t ever buy food there. Do not recommend it.

Each item was inconsistent with everything and how over cooked it all was.
The food was just horrible. From all the food orded not one thing was edible, even the prawn crackers were burnt brown crusty not risking food poisoning. Sweet sour Sauce was One long, bland, watery compost”, garlic prawns had been “converted into chewy little shapes without a lot of flavour” As for the chicken balls I’m sure an eyeball that had been freshly popped out of the skull of a pig…tasted better than the Chicken balls
Overall Awful. Don’t spend your money here
Everything went into the bin same night..
