Showing 5 reviews Rating:4 Not a long journey but enjoyable Main station is well kitted out with toilets, cafe and shop Easy access for disabled travellers. Overall time of train is 40 mins approx

0 You have already voted! Rating:5 It’s a small trip back to yesteryear. The staff a very helpful and friendly. There were trains running all day for a reasonable priced fare. There was access to the signal box to talk to the staff, and everywhere you looked someone was willing to help.

0 You have already voted! Rating:5 I visited for the first time and my son enjoyed himself a lot. Loads of friendly staff from the moment you set foot on the platform, great priced gift shop and very nice cafe food. Sadly there was no steam train on our visit but equally we enjoyed ourselves on a diesel train which was just as good. We would definitely be returning for a steam engine trip but I would also recommend travelling on the diesel train too they are just as fun!

0 You have already voted! Rating:5 Came by and visited during the Summer Gala event at the railway and I had an enjoyable time, riding on steam engine rides with both coach and brake van, craft beer on sale and even a traction engine out and about on the day I came.

There is a refreshment “buffet car” to get a good selection of food and drinks a good price.
With a pub at the entrance and the Brampton Vally walk nearby it’s a good day out.
