It’s for children. A wonderful fairy tale house with the atmospheres of world famous children’s stories. There are also special events at certain times of the week. There is a sweet cozy cafe just below

What an absolutely brilli-ant museum! So many delightful interactive elements to keep people of all ages amused. All staff were so enthusiastic, helpful and engaging and I would definitely visit again to see what new exhibitions they have!

What a great museum! We loved it here – my daughter, aged 5, was completely absorbed by the different, magical rooms and we happily spent 2 hours here (and could have stayed longer). The museum has been very creatively and imaginatively designed, and there’s lots of opportunity for open ended play. We will definitely return again, as she’ll just get different things out of the experience as she gets older, so in that way it’s great for different ages!

Wonderful place! Went with 4 and 1 year old – both loved it. Did the Small Worlds ‘experience’ – group story and song at start and end, then an hour to explore different themed ‘zones’ in an open space, each with several books and props (eg Bear Hunt; night time zone with books about watching meteor showers, catching stars, owls) etc. Enjoyed it so much we bought tickets for the ‘gallery’ – a ‘whispering wood’ with trees with headphones, each narrates a story from a different part of the world, and a museum guide also tells a group story; through to a ‘Brilli-ANT’ exhibition with insects giving kids ideas for how to improve the world; then the ‘enchanted library’ with different rooms themed around individual books (eg Alice in Wonderland, The Lion The Witch and The Wardrobe, The Snowman) and inbetween display cabinets with lots of familiar books and paraphernalia (eg Winnie the Pooh, Peppa Pig, Tiger who came to tea). There’s also a lovely cafe, and a theatre, all in ...

It was awesome! Visited with 3 kids (4, 6 and 8 y.o.), only the eldest one can read and understands English quite well, but everyone enjoyed. Very helpful staff, nice cafe with gluten-free options and toys. The site glitched, when we tried booking the tickets, the price inside museum is the same.

It’s a great place for people of all ages. It will ignite your imagination whether you are creative or not. It’s not ‘entertainment’ it’s engagement, which is often sadly lacking today. It has something for every age from 4-14 and beyond!

Also join their mailing list as they do a lot of things.

Cafe on the ground floor is wheelchair accessible and serves decent cake. Also gluten free.
