Showing 8 reviews Rating:5 Not busy at all. Plenty of parking space and. 325 minute flat walk to the city centre and 10 minute walk to the train station. There is a bus that goes to the train station as well which one can take by buying park and ride ticket. Very close to A420 making it the best park and ride driving from Swindon to oxford

Rating:1 Couldn’t pay for the time we wanted to in the pay machines and the app took around 30 minutes to pay for the parking.

Rating:3 Good option to park close to Oxford city centre. The toilets needs to improve cleaning are disgusting.

Rating:5 Very efficient in a no personnel on site kind of way. Toilets tick. Could do with a confectionery machine. Small issue at the moment. Half of the parking area under water

Rating:5 It is a convenient place if you want to visit Oxford. The park and ride busses were quite frequent and took us to the city centre. We will use it next time as well.

Rating:2 Use another park and ride this one is chaotic and it’s more of a park and walk! Due to the roadworks we were told our tickets were valid on two other buses but when we went to get on those buses we were told they weren’t valid and had to pay again. When we asked the bus driver where we needed to get the right bus he said “no idea, not my job”. He was so unhelpful as was the next bus driver who told us he wasn’t going anywhere for 9 mins and we’d be better off walking. In the end another passenger gave us the information we needed. I’m not sure why these two drivers were so unhelpful and this was my first and likely my last experience of using the park and rides in Oxford. I’m definitely driving next time and take my chances in the car parks!

Rating:2 Does Not ride you to Oxford. Park and walk is more accurate. Only goes to the other side of the train station. Road closed. We walked back to the car park as no buses there. Very dissatisfied as last year I would have been pushing a wheelchair around and this would have been incredibly difficult

Rating:5 I would recommend and use this Park and Ride again when heading into Oxford; it is modern, clean, safe and has full facilities (heated waiting area, free clean toilets).

We ended up missing 5 buses and then had to wait 15 minutes for the next one. There was then a 12 minute walk into town lumping suitcases as the bridge was closed!

Minor issue is it is not clear with instructions when arrival; so tips are:
-upon entry turn right and then right again to park near the waiting area and ticket machine areas.
-two ticket machines on the left are for parking and shuttle bus (as of writing was £6.80; great value for 1 day return). The ones on the right side of a facilities appear to be for additional bus (for more than 2 adults as per the photo).
-there is no need to display tickets as you use it for the bus and there are camera operations.
-bus is the number 400 and only circa 2 stops to the Oxford station.
