The parking is fine. The buses are very new and comfortable but the service last Sunday was poor. We waited 30 minutes at 4:30pm for a bus back and it was packed. Standing room only. Apparently always like this on a Sunday. Will definitely try the train on our next visit.

Good location with reasonable facilities. Well set up for easy access to the centre with toilets and a small coffee shop. Parking and bus for the whole family was only £5. Staff needed to be helpful as signs are not great.

Very good parking and toilet cafe there too so perfect if travelled from afar. I used the ticket machine which was easy to use, but you need to know your car registration number. We booked the park and ride bus too and got straight on it. Last time we got on the wrong 700 returning from John Radcliffe Hospital so ended up going around the whole of Oxford, so we made a point of asking how to tell the difference, it’s easy when you know how! I use the Thornhill Park and Ride every time I have to go to JRH as it is easy, fairly quick and so cheap! £4 for myself and my 11yr old son to park and get the bus, it cuts out the stress of finding a parking space too!

This Park and Ride is brilliant. First time we have used it. I was expecting to be ripped off.
Couldn’t believe it. Up to 16 hours parking, two return bus journeys into the heart of Oxford
all for £5.00 It was the highlight of my day – not our meal or the Theatre performance. The Park and Ride has been the first thing I talk about with friends. Really clean and tidy indoor area with toilets. Bus drivers very friendly and helpful. Excellent.

Functional and clean public toilet. Bus affordable for 2 people to park and get a return to town (£5); machines where you can buy tickets was easy to use and you can pay by card. You don’t need to leave the ticket in the car and instead you just need to show it to the bus driver when boarding. There is plenty of car parking space at 3 pm, on a Saturday, a week before the Christmas break. Bus drivers friendly and helpful. Indoor area to wait was useful.

I’ve used this park and ride a number of times, it’s a large facility some miles outside Oxford city centre.
At the heart of the park and ride is a small waiting room with toilets, around that are some paved car parking areas and some stone paved areas.
To park for 16 hours and get the bus into the city is £4. For 2 persons, the fee is somewhat more.
Payment for parking is at machines that accept cards or contactless. As a dyslexic, I found the instructions difficult to follow.
As an aside, heading into the city centre, the bus passes the Oxford shark.

Convenient park and ride but a terribly confusing payment system. We bought a ticket to park and ride only later to find we need to add people. If you don’t pay for all passengers at one time the price almost doubled on the bus. This caught us out and some elderly people waiting and we noted many boarding the bus having the same problem. The same was evident in Bath at the Park and Ride yesterday. When will these provide clear information in all the right areas rather than burning peoples money. There are signs but it absolutely isn’t clear and many signs have different information. For those visiting who may read this review when you pay and enter your car registration, ensure you add passengers before completing payment. The car park is large and seems safe and buses run every 15mins into the city. The route takes around ten to fifteen minutes to the city centre.
