Showing 8 reviews Rating:4 A very tranquil and picturesque outdoor pool. The water is heated to a very toasty temperature (around 28° I’d say). The pool is an unusual shape – like a figure 8, with a deep/laned in one half of the 8, and a shallow pool for little ones in the other. The pool has been updated over the years but it’s nice to see one of the old fountains (now being used as a giant planter) and the retro outdoor changing cubicles.

0 You have already voted! Rating:1 So rude! The staff is incredibly rude! They blow the whistle at everyone all the time. They are so rude, people in the water are stressed. I love swimming, the setting is incredible, but the staff make the entire experience impossible to enjoy. They would even stop you swimming in a lane if you were the only person in the entire pool to tell you you should swim differently/in a different direction, etc. I had my one year old on the arm and they told me this was not allowed. Pictures are not allowed. A few teenagers were enjoying themselves in a corner. They had fun, it wasn’t violent. They were nice. The lifeguards kept whistling at them, even threatening the entire group (« if you do this again, everyone leaves »). Other swimmers were really disturbed by them – not the teenagers. If you want to swim while being monitored by meticulously mean and arrogant people whistling at you-everyone really-go! Otherwise avoid! I left the pool stressed and sad. 0 You have already voted! Rating:1 My family and I came on the 11/05/2024 and it was an awful experience. Staff were rude and constantly blew there whistle at family’s with children, telling them that they were in the deep end of the kids pool and this was not allowed even when children had arm bands on and could easily stand in the pool and were accompanied by an adult.

0 You have already voted! Rating:1 It’s really sad how far downhill this place has gone. Only opening half the pool at a time, and having one-hour slots makes it offputting and stressful to attend. Do they not realise that with young children you can’t be that accurate with your timing?! Such a shame – I hope they realise how ridiculous this policy is and change it for next year.

0 You have already voted! Rating:5 This place seems to have come to heaven, especially during the sunny day. There are always more than four or five lifeguards. It has a large space that’s good enough to enjoy. I couldn’t say enough about how satisfied we were with this pool. LOVE IT. Thank you

0 You have already voted! Rating:4 As a pool its ok. Kids enjoyed a lot. Water was clean. Enough changing room. But after swim, shower facility is very less (only one & open). When session finish, every stay in the queue to have shower. Waiting time 15/20 min & its was freezing because of breeze. Toilets was not clean enough. Car Park is small. Need reach early to get parking. Staffs are good. Need to Book place advance.

0 You have already voted! Rating:5 Went for the summer solstice swim and it was fab!!! The staff member were lovely and it was so nice to be in a heated pool!! The warm shower is also incredible but having more of them will be great! Also having some key lockers could be good since I didnt find any! I am not sure if they are doing some classes but having some swimming classes will be great and maybe having student prices will be nice as well 🙂 Some of the bottom of the pool was a bit rusty or brown color so having this cleaned will be even better! Will come back again but one hour for £10 is quite steep so will see if I can sign up for a season ticket 🙂

At £5.70 a swim session (around 50 minutes) was good value. No lockers on site. Showers were warm, toilets were clean, as was the pool (even with the ducks swimming in it between sessions). The attendants/ lifeguards are quite strict on session start and end times – not a problem for lane swimmers, but I dread to imagine the fallout of the end of session whistle for family sessions!

we had one hour in the pool but at least 15 minutes were taken out of this time due to cue waiting times to get into the pool even though we had booked online, we were then rushed to leave when the hour was up. It was an awful stressful experience and I would hate for another family to have to experience this. We will not be returning again.
