Showing 5 reviews Rating:5 A great campsite with clean facilities, and plenty of space to pick a good pitch either by the river or on the opposite side of the field. Owners were friendly and helpful, Tom texted the day before arriving with site info and contact details for any issues. Firepits provided with bags of wood available to buy for a very good price. I loved the wall paper in the toilets!! One of the best wild sites we’ve been to, and being able to take our 3 dogs was brilliant as so many sites limit to 2. We would definitely stay again. Thank you.

0 You have already voted! Rating:5 Wow! What a place. Definitely stay there again. Site is clean, toilets kept immaculate. The staff who are Polly and Chicks are such lovely people and made everyone feel more than welcome. Tom the owner is a top guy and was at hand to help with some car issues. Had the added bonus of meeting the River Master Buffalo Si who’s fishing knowledge is 2nd to none. All round awesome place and would recommend it to anyone.

A place to wash your dishes, toilets that run on rainwater.. the local gym allows you to use their showers for a small fee and the River Avon to take a dip in (or rope swing over) is brilliant. A lovely, peaceful site. highly recommend! The owner, Tom is also really friendly and helpful.

0 You have already voted! Rating:5 Absolutely outstanding eco campsite. The toilets were always clean, noticed young staff always on hand to help with troubles and inquires of campers. Nature gave many activities for all age groups like swimming in the river and many swings in the trees along the river. Staff were great upon arrival and often said hi and had a chat. Great atmosphere and always a laugh with other campers definitely will visit again. 🙂

0 You have already voted! Rating:5 I can comfortably say that it was one of the best camp sites I stayed (and I stayed in a lot). The toilets were so clean every time of the day even though it was Easter break and relatively busy. I have no idea how they keep it so clean! They had toilet paper and soap all the time (not running out) The site manager was so friendly. They don’t have a shop, but they sell wood for you to burn. They give you the option to post in cash or transfer, which is great. There are shops you can buy food near the camp site. Some of the ground was still marshy, but they tell you this in advance and there is a lot of places you can pitch. I loved my stay and we’ll definitely be coming back.
