Rating:5 Equally lovely location for family, group of friends or just single person in estate grounds. Atm very quiet as things are only starting to re-open and this place is not overly advertised. It does lie next to a railway line but due to “strike” no trains. Reasonably priced for the high quality toilets/showers and handy coffee shop and pizzeria. Recommend a pint of the local IPA. Very quiet at night considering proximity to M40/M42. Barbecues and small fire pits allowed . Lots of bird life and wild flowers nearby with Tanworth in Arden a short circular walk. Don’t miss the church. On the down side not much in the way of signs where to park or pitch but on the other hand this befits the whole relaxed atmosphere of the place. Also mobile signal “iffy” so might be good idea to download Google Maps route before you leave. I’d recommend visiting before it becomes more popular.
