The old quarry pond pool right outside the door, the firewood and coals for a BBQ in the evening, the beautiful welcome and perfectly clean pod, the cosy bed and warmth of the interior, the fully equipped kitchen, and the endless grounds full of beauty and birds and stillness. It was a glorious stay, and I know we’re now going to be regulars! Our hosts were kind and private, but delightful to meet at the very end and even helped with my car trouble. If you need a short retreat, whether you like to wild swim or not, this is the perfect place to do it.

Rating:5 An absolutely fantastic place to get cosy and hide away from the hustle and bustle of the world, whilst re-engaging with nature and things you want to but never quite get around to doing. Perhaps reading the book you’ve put off for too long or trying your hand at fishing.

0 You have already voted! Rating:5 We had a perfect few days here. Would highly recommend for those who enjoy fishing, peace and quiet and a little luxury. We’re already planning our next trip! It was immaculately clean with a really good attention to detail.

0 You have already voted! Rating:5 Lovely cozy pod, very comfortable and peaceful. I had a very brief dip in the lake and enjoyed watching the wildlife. I stayed here whilst working night shifts and slept like a log. Really comfy bed, well equipped kitchen and super hot shower. Lots of lovely thoughtful touches throughout. Highly recommend staying here.
