We had a lovely meal, the food was very very tasty and reasonable.
Waiting staff are super friendly.
The only gripe I had was the guest IPA as it was definitely not an IPA.
Apart from that we had an excellent time there.

We had a very good experience here, the food was good and the bed was comfy. The room was dated but very clean. Staff was helpful and friendly.

Popped in for a drink on an evening walk. This pub is local and has many happy memories, of visits with family and friends of meals in resturant where the mill wheel was visible and of sitting outside by the mill race.
This visit was a little disappointing, possibly the weather did not help and the cosy downstairs area was closed as it was or had been flooded.

Booked a lunchtime slot, was greeted with a smile and seated immediately. They were obviously short staffed on this day but coped extremely well. The food was great and the staff were first class. The slight delay wasn’t an issue as we were well looked after. Just a pity some other diners didn’t appreciate the effort the staff were putting in.

There were 3 of us there for lunch. We all had the battered cod, chips and mushy peas. They were excellent.
We did have to chase up our desserts, two were great, the chocolate brownie with ice cream and a mini cheesecake with a coffee, however the apple pie must have been cooked in a rush as the pastry was raw.
On the whole it was a great experience and we would go again.
