This footpath takes you through Arbury Estate from Harefield Lane to Charnwood Avenue. Combined with the walk down Harefield Lane to get to it, it’s a very pleasant walk. There are remains of an old building just off the path, but since it’s a private estate, it’s best to stick to the path rather than go investigating too much. It seems from reading that it’s one of many ruins to be found scattered around the area. There’s a second path near the school that takes you across the main drive, through a small woods and across a field towards Seeswood Pool. The pool is private, but you can still get some excellent views from the road.
