Rating:5 A lovely days walking was made even better to be able to watch barges pass through these locks and those further down towards Stratford.

Rating:4 A day out on my brother-in-laws boat. We went to the locks. Brilliant day my boys enjoyed opening the locks.

Rating:5 Passing on a narrowboat. Good place to moor and walk the flight. There is a cafe near to the bottom of the flight, close to The Boot Inn Pub, which is not open on a Friday.

Rating:3 This is an interesting section of the canal with a succession of locks. The towpath is in good order and so it is a pleasant place for a stroll. There are no facilities nearby but Lapworth Church is worth visiting and by extending the walk to Hockley Heath refreshments can be found

The tow path from here is getting a bit overgrown and the path is uneven. It was dry today so not too bad.
I wish there were more rubbish bins as people don’t know how to take their rubbish home!
