Showing 5 reviews Rating:5 We did the Sherlock room. We all loved the aesthetic of the room, the diffculty was hard and we struggled a bit, but Paul, our games master, gave us the right amount of hints, his instructions were clear, he was bubbly and professional.

0 You have already voted! Rating:1 Worst Escape Room experience. The one staff member was very rude and both didnt seem enthusiastiout being there. The area is run down and the state of the place matches. All trains were cancelled into Bham and most walkable routes are blocked due to HS2 being built, the staff were not understanding and refused to reschedule despite there being available slots (also no refund policy). We were given 20mins in ‘Haunted Hollow’ (essentially a box room with the lights off). We had a walkie talkie for hints which the staff kept being passive aggressive over when we hadn’t even asked for a clue and the same when we did. The props were cheap and the room was barren expect one box on a shelf and two boxes on a wall as the most interactivity. Even when we got out the abrasive handcuffs it was boring af. I went to ‘Exciting Game Bham’ the quality was wayyy better, higher quality props that matched the theme, most intricate and interactive puzzles. Save your money!

0 You have already voted! Rating:1 DEFINITELY WILL NOT BE COMING AGAIN! Staff members were incredibly miserable upon our arrival and were rude to us. Myself and the group were late due to unforeseen circumstances (cables being stolen on the train tracks hence cancellations) They had no sympathy towards the situation as to why we were late. One young lady stated “it won’t benefit the business if we lose out on money” when we politely asked if there was anything they can do to change the allocated time. We accepted their refusal and continued to do the escape room (only for 20 mins) and the whole experience was just a shambles. The same lady who greeted us in was on the walkie talkie and again had the same attitude from the beginning. Poor signal with the walkie talkies too. Really poor experience at this place and I would suggest you all to find another escape room to go to because this isn’t acceptable! We found another place shortly after and had a great time.

0 You have already voted! Rating:4 Not the worst experience but could’ve been better. We did the Haunted Hollow. First it was a bit tricky to find the place itself as the sign wasn’t up, so spent 5-10mins trying to find the entrance which cut into our playing time. When using the radio to ask for clues there were sometimes delays with the response, not sure if the staff had gone somewhere or what. Also, some of the locks were a bit fiddly so had to try them 2-3 times before realising they did actually open. Overall though it was a decent and enjoyable experience with friends, and I wouldn’t mind coming again. Thanks to our host, Charlotte, who was very friendly.

0 You have already voted! Rating:3 Went to the Sherlock Holmes room. It was a difficult room (as advertised) but great quality puzzles and decoration. Unfortunately, the timing issue let the place down. It was explained to us that our time started at 4 regardless of the time we got into the room, one of our party was running late but we agreed he could jump in when he arrived so we didn’t lose time. Staff disappeared before our room time and we had to request our room start, by which point it was gone 4. They then did all the introductions and explaining, which ate into the time. we got quite close to finishing, but the lights turned off and our game ended with almost 3 minutes left on the clock!

We asked about this when our game master came back in, and they said it was because our hour was up, however one person in our party checked their watch and it was around 4:58. Altogether we probably lost about 5 minutes of game time despite arriving early.
A real shame about the timings as the room itself was fantastic, ...
