Showing 5 reviews Rating:1 I have visited this place previously for parties and thought it was decent enough. However after bringing my children on two separate occasions more recently we definitely will not be returning.

0 You have already voted! Rating:2 We loved Scallywags for years. It was our favourite softplay in the area. The staff is always friendly and working always so hard to provide the best service. We always felt welcomed and looked after. However the new recent owner brought with his appearance so much negative energy. He appear to be a friendly & wobbly guy, but the way he approach random parents and trying to chat about his ownership and plans for the place is not what I personally like. Give me a break for my kids to play and stop showing off.

Ellie, Mercedes and Lewis were all great hosts and all the kids (about 25 of them) had an amazing time too. The food was good and we really liked being able to bring our own food for the grown-ups too. We’d highly recommend having a party here!

0 You have already voted! Rating:3 Was busy with multiple parties happening at the same time. Facilities are okay, but the lighting in the bathroom is dull. We were attending a party and the host did clean away drinks before the party had finished but the staff was happy to replace this. Party food was good with plenty of options and quantities except for the biscuits that they provided as pudding. I am unaware if they provide a SEN time, as this experience was a little much for my boy.

0 You have already voted! Rating:5 We are no stranger to Scallywags. Been our second home for years. Lovely people. This was our first Santa visit with our grandchildren and great grand babies and it was so heartwarming. Our Santa was so good with the children. They were having the best time. Plenty of room for the family in the grotto and plenty of time for a laugh with moms and dads. The elves had it all under control and We all loved the experience.

The first occasion, we were overcharged which I didn’t realise until we were leaving when I saw the admissions prices on the wall. When we arrived she told us the price I paid and I didn’t question it. However the price she stated was more than what was listed on the wall. The manager came and could clearly see the discrepancy but still refused to refund the distance? Instead we were provided with a free return voucher.
On the second visit – my observations are that the toddler area really isn’t fit for purpose. The area is for under 3s yet there are tons of children aged 6-8 running around making it unpleasant for the babies and toddlers, but also quite unsafe as the older kids are quite rough. There is no staff presence to monitor the situation and when you approach them they seem unbo...

At the same time I heard him few times speaking to the staff and he is being very bossy, rude and giving them orders like to the teenagers. Really bad attitude for someone who wants to run such a business and keep his team together. Good boss firstly should show appreciation of his workers. The atmosphere at Scallywags has drastically changed and I don’t think we would come back here again. There is so many other places where you can just relax and let kids enjoy it.
