I took my son for the 1st time to churchfields playing fields and he enjoyed himself, there is a big slide a climbing rope frame, rocking horse, seesaw, spinning bowl and swings for the children then there are two or three football pitches and plenty of open field to sit on

Nice public pitches tbh, level and grass was cut, they could do with some tlc but they are council pitches at the end of the day, not much dog mess too

Always took my son over here to go for a walk or to play football or play on the park there but we haven’t been for a few months due to all that’s going on and when we did finally go we were shocked at the state the park was in. The bins were overflowing and there was rubbish, dog mess and broken glass everywhere. It really wasn’t nice and we came home shortly after getting there. The swings had also been removed. Not good at all.

Usually a lovely place to take an evening walk , but dissapointed that people have obviously been gathering in the middle of the fields and have left bottles , can and rubbish everywhere…the bins are only a few yards away…there were even people on the golf course just sitting together on blankets….bloody ridiculous…

The play area is very muddy, a lot of play areas have artificial matting , so this area is only good in the summer
