Absolutely awful experience here. I called up on Saturday to book my car in for an exhaust repair / replacement. The exhaust has snapped and is trailing along the road. I booked it in on Sunday (the next day) at 10:00. I was told when I arrived, not a problem, we will have a look and call you to let you know how much to repair. 4 hours went by and I had heard nothing by 2pm. Decided to call to get an update but couldn’t get through. Tried again at 3pm but still no answer. Now they close at 4pm so this is diabolical customer service. I have no idea what is happening with my car. After being on hold for 33mins I finally get through (at 15:50) to be told “ah sorry mate, forgot to call as we had a gas leak”. This is complete rubbish. He advised “You need a completely new exhaust but I’ve looked around with our suppliers and they don’t supply your car (bmw 1 series 16 plate). I advised the guy on the phone when booking the car in (on Saturday), I think I need a new exhaust, he took my reg a...

Worst place ever. Techs are absolutely useless. Lies on MOT. Scam artists. Crash or damage cars and say its not their fault. What more can I say? Should be called HALFRAUDS! Local garages are a lot more experienced than these guys! Never again!

Bad experience here recently…poor customer service offered…prices also considerably more than local independent garages…won’t be going back

Went to Halfords 20 minutes before they closed as I had a headlight bulb out and needed it replaced. Was not expecting to get it fitted due to the time but Zak fitted it for me. What an obliging young man and very thorough. A credit to Halfords.
