Went in with problem of my dashcam falling off the windscreen. The young man behind the counter diagnosed it immediately as a split sucker. He offered a solution of a mount with a different fixing, for a fair price. He then not only fetched it for me, but he set it up as well. Brilliant. Thank you very much.

Poor diary management, I was booked in for a chip repair at 11am and left Halfords at 1245. The guy fixing the chips was great but the rest of the system was terrible. I was going to book for wiper blades etc but definitely won’t now

Called in for replacement number plate and all done in 5 mins. Very helpful and efficient staff. Thank you. Ignore the useless Halfords call centre who advised that no store does walk-ins. The 5 stars are for the store. Zero for call centre.

I had a new car battery fitted this afternoon, but the workmanship was not of an acceptable standard. I had to assist the technician at several stages to ensure the work was completed correctly and safely. On checking the tightness of the battery terminals when back home, I found both to be loose. The technician appeared inexperienced which is not his fault. The responsibility rests with his manager who put him to work on my car.
