0 You have already voted! Rating:5 The shop is alright, it can get a bit busy at times but that’s expected. It’s a great alternative to Gregg’s which can get a bit repetitive. The shop itself appears to be always clean and the staff have been pleasant. Price wise I’d say it is better value than Gregg’s.

0 You have already voted! Rating:3 Popped in to get my beloved carrot cake twin pack! Used to be £1 now it’s £2 SHOCK HORROR LOL. Even the woman behind the counter agreed about the price. Pound bakery doesn’t seem as busy as it’s premium and very local competitor beginning with G. I did go in late so there wasn’t much choice. Nice shop but not the POUND BAKERY I once knew and loved. Should rebrand as the £2 BAKERY!

0 You have already voted! Rating:1 First time buying from this shop. I bought. Spicy chicken wrap and a red velvet cake. Both looked delicious and tasted delicious, until a few hours later I felt really really unwell and well the rest is history. It was the only thing I ate different. Good customer service though but won’t be back it’s not right to be feeling sick 🙁

It’s a shame that one rude woman can reflect on the whole establishment, but when we entered the shop and were served by an elderly lady with glasses, she immediately greeted us with rudeness since we didn’t know that there was no loaded chips. Then when my cousin asked for some hand sanitiser (which is perfectly reasonable considering most places provide this) she again, rudely, said that she was only allowed one squirt and ranted on at us that she had bought it herself (this would be fine if hand sanitiser wasn’t one of the cheapest things in the market right now) and so- we all decided there was no way we would purchase something from such a horrible experience and upon leaving she said ‘oh after all of that’!! as a person who works in hospitality I don’t understand how she’s even employed in such a place if she can’t handle her temper and a few questions.. Other workers said nothing.
