Went here to do a relatively quick transaction, however the queue was very big for a Saturday morning. Some people in there struggle with basic banking and the staff have to pair up to get simple transactions to make sense for them. The reason for this was, in one case, lack of basic English so one staff member was speaking in the mother tongue of the customer and then translating that to the other staff member so it became a rather disconcerting and convoluted process. There are self service points for withdrawals and another point for deposits. The branch is quite spacious and generally the staff are friendly and helpful.

don’t normally have a problem here, but why all halifaxes have decided to only have one paying in machine is beyond me! sometimes I’ve waited ages!!! people putting a great wad of cash in bit at a time, people not really understanding what to do!

Staff are not very happy. I’ve been turned away when I wanted to pay in coins. Apparently I need to call in and have an appointment to pay money in to my own account. Goodbye Halifax, hello Nationwide!

I received a lot of help from Hafsa and she even told me ways to save money on my purchases and phone contract bill. I could tell she had a lot of in-depth knowledge regarding savings accounts. She made my experience at Halifax a nice one and it was nice to speak to pleasant member of staff!

Very slow customer service. Staff see that there is a long queue yet still have long chat with customer being served. Just chatting about the weather.
