Visited 11/5 about 6.30pm. It wasn’t as busy as expected for a Saturday evening. Food was fantastic value for the portion sizes. Steak & ale pie had plenty of filling & was very tasty. Chicken skewers were moist. Steak was cooked medium & to perfection. Overall great meals

Tables where sticky and the floor of the table next to us was covered in food for the whole time of our meal ( it was quiet no more than 4 other groups in the restaurant) Ordered deserts after finishing my food. Waited 40 minutes and they still hadn’t turn up. My partner then went up to ask how long it would take for him to turn around and say they’ll start it straight away. It was then another took 15 minutes for two deserts to turn up. When they came out the apple crumble looked like it had been sat there for 10 minutes and was Luke warm. Will not be going again.

Had a small breakfast while attending breakfast with the Easter bunny, nothing wrong with the food but the toast wasn’t great hard bread. Rest was fine! Son had the Easter pancakes. It was a shame there was only a few kids during that time slot with the Easter bunny as they did out effort in! The Easter bunny was very enthusiastic with the children. Played pass the parcel, musical chairs, had colouring and head bands to use. Danced with the children.

Went for breakfast at the interceptor. Was average food wise with pale sausage and overcooked egg. The biggest let down was I paid an extra £1 for a piece of toast and it was tiny and cold so butter wouldn’t melt. I wouldn’t order extra toast again. The best thing though was the amazing service from both the lady who brought my tea and the young lad who brought my breakfast and checked on me. Friendly smiling and absolutely the stars in the pub. Hope the bosses appreciate them both.
