I adore this place. The food is the most important in any place and they have it on point here. Highly recommend the butter chicken and chicken saag! My good friend had the railway chicken and was raving about it ! It has a lovely friendly relaxed atmosphere and not to crowded .! Ideally book although I did walk in and was served promptly on a busy Saturday evening !

Food was great- two must try dishes are the Hatti Grill and the Lamb Karahi
A good menu selection for meat eaters and vegetarians
Service was slow and we had to find a member of the waiting staff a couple of times – they did seem short staffed
Overall a good experience and will return

This was the Red House pub when I was growing up and wasn’t that great. We went to the Flying Elephant on Wednesday to celebrate a birthday and see what it was like. First impressions were great, with both the outside and inside looking much nicer. We were warmly welcomed and shown to our booked table. The menu looks excellent with a mix of Indian, Kenyan and British dishes. We ordered starters and main courses. All the food was really excellent. I particularly recommend the Samosa Chaat! The only slight downside was that the plates for the main course were cold. When we asked whether they could be heated the waitress said ‘well they have come from the hot plate’ and walked off. We then opined that the service really dropped off and even though it was becoming busier, there were staff just standing around – when we finished our meal nobody cleared the finished ates even after we’d received and paid the bill. At the time we shrugged it off and as I say the...

What a spectacular place! Great venue, nice location, excellent service and the Indian food is just sensational. I’m so impressed by this place, it’s definitely a hidden gem. I was blown away by the food, honestly, hats off to the chef’s. Love the decor too! This has to be one of the best pour of beer I’ve ever come across. We visit quite often, and I’ve introduced my friends to this place and they just love it. I must say, I often go for meat based dishes, however the vegetarian curries are just bursting with flavour.
