Rating:4 A nice little old fashioned pub, went in after doing my Theory test in town so I could get a stamp in my book.

Rating:5 The lych Gate tavern is a very old pub. It has been sympathetically restored, and there is a brass plaque on the wall outside with information about it. There is an excellent range of beers, lagers, and cider, including some very good hand pulled cask conditioned real ales. From the street level, the pub is down several flights of stairs, but there is a lift for disabled access. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, it’s a lovely cosy pub.

Rating:5 Absolutely cracking boozer. Beer is well kept and served and the samosas are to die for. Love the place

Rating:5 Excellent Black Country Brewery pub about 10 minutes walk from Wolverhampton Station. Seven cask beers – and 1 cider – on handpump when I last visited including a porter and a mild. Lots of outdoor seating some of it covered.

Me and the Barmaid where the youngest people in there but everyone seemed nice that was in there.
Loved seeing the old photos on the walls and love that the Black Country Ales have bought a old pub back to life.

The Georgian frontage of the pub dates from 1726 while the timber framed rear is 16th century.
Busy but not impossibly so before and after the Spurs game at Molineux.
