Showing 5 reviews Rating:1 I’ve had a series of disappointing experiences at Perry Signature hair salon and I felt compelled to share my negative review. Initially, I was drawn to the salon because it had a high rating of 5 stars on Google, and I was excited to find a black salon nearby which seemed promising.

In my first experience, I contacted Perry to simply have my hair refreshed with a wash, blow-dry, and straightening. However, he insisted that I should take off my weave so that he could redo it. He claimed to be the best hair stylist in the West Midlands and bragged about his awards and qualifications. Apperatly, people travel afar just to get their hair done by him. Despite my reluctance, he continued to push me to take off the weave and promised a better job. Eventually, I convinced him to just wash and straighten it. Unfortunately, I immediately noticed that he seemed more interested in making money rather than providing quality service. He did not lay the closure properly, did not use heat prot...

First and foremost, her natural hair was ripped out by the glue used during the styling process, she had been left with several bald patches. This is completely unacceptable and demonstrates a severe lack of skill and care on behalf of the staff.
To make matters worse, it was completely obvious that my sister was wearing a wig. The same wig had previously been installed by another hairdresser, there was no issues whatsoever. However, this time the wig was lifting within a hour of leaving the shop. This incompetence ruined what should have been an enjoyable bank holiday for my sister.
Furthermore, the customer service was abysmal. There was a complete lack of compassion from the staff and Perry, who were not only in helpful but incredibly rude.

I called the shop owner Perry he informed me the hairdresser is running 10mins late. I said ok I will wait. 45mins later the hairdresser did not arrive. Their incompetent clearly don’t know how to run a business. Avoid this place.
