Showing 5 reviews Rating:5 I don’t have a room. I use the spar where I have my nails done. Great place to go. This place is lovely, friendly with great service. I’ve also had afternoon tea which was absolutely gorgeous. I would totally recommend. They have a hot tub I’ve not used yet but looks great

0 You have already voted! Rating:5 Welcomed by Laura who showed us to our room, which was very pleasant. The large bed was probably the most comfortable bed we have experienced in B&B’s. The en-suite bathroom was obviously still under renovation, but was sufficient for our needs. Would have preferred a walk in shower in lieu of the bath, as it was a bit dodgy getting in and out of, as it was quite slippery when wet. Thought that the “disco” lights around the bath were novel . Breakfast wasn’t included in the price, but fortunately our evening meal at The Barn in Hockley Heath tided us over. Times are tight for everyone nowadays, but maybe breakfast should be included in the price even if it is only Toast and coffee?

0 You have already voted! Rating:5 Enjoyed a wonderful afternoon tea experience at Achill to celebrate two very special birthdays. Laura kindly helped with my dietary requirements beforehand and we were very well looked after throughout our visit. The food was superb with a lovely selection of sweet and savoury treats, and the Scandinavian style cabins are beautiful. Even on a cold January day, they are warm, cosy and luxurious, the perfect setting for a special occasion. We will certainly be returning to Achill!

All that said we would probably stay there again .

I had a facial today at Achill spa and the staff were so welcoming and friendly.
On arrival they sat us in their beautiful garden seating area with complimentary drinks which made us feel so welcome from the start. The facial was perfect and so relaxing. After the treatment, the staff offered to find me a phone charger as my phone had died and they made sure I had enough battery to get home.
Such an amazing visit, I will definitely be back.

Ellen was great as usual, and Mary was really attentive with the afternoon tea!
I had the vegan option for afternoon tea, which was really good and I’d really recommend! Vegan pork pie and scotch egg as well as sandwiches, and the tastiest vegan chocolate cake!
Will be coming here more often (especially for the vegan options!)
