For anyone visiting QE Hospital, this is a perfect place to stay as it is about 20 minutes walk away. The room we stayed in was very comfortable and had everything we could wish for. Christie, however, is the main reason to stay here. She makes you feel so welcome, it’s more like visiting a friends house than a B&B. Parking may be an issue but I have to say, I found a space outside the house almost immediately. Apparently, people come and go all the time.

We stayed 2 nights at Albany House over a weekend to visit the Black Country Living Museum, but more so a concert at Moseley Park (11 min drive). It was ideally located just off the high street of Harborne, which has a great selection of shops, supermarkets, bars and eateries. Chrissie, the host, couldn’t have been friendlier or more helpful and took time to talk and give advice on the local area. The room was great with ensuite, with a very comfortable bed and tea/coffee facilities. The lovely cakes were delicious. The breakfasts were excellent with two courses and different each day which added to the enjoyable stay. Chrissie is most welcoming and we talked a lot about various subjects. I would thoroughly recommend staying at Albany House and there was never any issue with parking on the street and we got parked directly outside on a number of occasions. Great place, great location and more so a great host.
