Best place for wider selection of books albeit the price. Amazing, helpful and friendly staff. There’s always a chance you’ll come across a beautiful exclusive edition of a book. Always feel welcomed whether buying a book or simply coming in to relax and read. Love that there are chairs now facing the window in the cookbook/religion/wellness section. My favourite sections are the fantasy,Y/A and romance sections.

Once through the doors, the traditional shop gave me a warm welcoming feeling, with soft carpet underfoot, and the smell of traditional wood stained bookcases, a bit like putting on some comfortable old slippers. I couldn’t actually find the book I was after, so had to ask the staff. They were polite, informative helpful, and took me upstairs to the appropriate section, where the book I wanted was situated. The book was for my Wife, but then I saw a book that I was interested in, so bought that as well. The range of books on offer is astonishing, fact, fiction, travel, puzzles, you name it, Waterstones have got it. An added bonus was the fact that on the way out, I came a...
