Showing 5 reviews Rating:2 Pre booked online and the site stated completely booked out until 8pm. We went there to do bowling, beer pong and karaoke. The place was empty and when bowling (we booked for 7 people) there were 4 seats so 3 of us sat in the seats on the table next to us, there were 2 lanes next to us completely unoccupied. We were asked to move or sit by the bar during the bowling game, when there were 2 lanes with 2 other tables completely unoccupied. So 3 of us ended up standing for the rest of the game even though there were 2 other tables completely empty! They don’t serve food here which I did research beforehand and it said it did (its just packets of crisps like tortillas), so we left to get food and they pushed our timeslot back for beer pong, which we were grateful for. I paid extra to have hooch for the beer pong, which was 4 cans and there was less than half an inch of drink in the beer pong cups. Which was a bit of a rip off in our eyes. 0 You have already voted! Rating:4 Decent place for bowling but is quite pricey for Birmingham. Toilets and tables are clean so that is good. Decent amount of seating available. Good arcade games on offer near the entrance if you fancy doing something else. There are some other games other than bowling too.

Lovely atmosphere and environment accompanied by a lovely host who was friendly and helpful throughout the night. We first did bowling and then was offered free karaoke as it was quiet. We will defo be coming back in the future and couldn’t recommend lane7 enough!!

The bowling was great. Karaoke on the other hand was disgusting, after waiting past our scheduled time we were taken to a a dark, sweaty room with no air conditioning, that smelt so awful, stuffy, and hot. The room was occupied before our group so no time was given to air the room out.
We were then told that there is a fan (household fan) but not very good!! We made the best of the experience but came out coughing, and sweating, with a view that we wouldn’t want to experience that again. Would not recommend it for large groups. Air conditioner needed.
As for the toilets! they need to be monitored and cleaned regularly…disgusting.

We had a large group and did the bowling & karaoke room and had a really good time! We enjoyed the arcade bit too.
They don’t serve food here, we thought they did so were disappointed about that and hungry by the end, but not their fault, totally our mistake. Just a heads up so you know to eat before or have something planned for food after
