Showing 5 reviews Rating:5 I recently rented a car from Avis/Budget on two separate occasions and received exceptional service from both Vitaliy and Irfan. They were incredibly helpful and accommodating, making the experience smooth and pleasant. Compared to their competitors at the same location, the service here is superior. I highly recommend choosing Avis/Budget. Keep in mind that it’s an airport location and can get busy, but rest assured, the staff are dedicated to assisting you. Just be patient, and you’ll be well taken care of.

Rating:1 Rented a car and baby seat, after driving for an hour reached our destination to find our 16 month old baby had pulled cover off car seat to reveal a completely broken car seat held together with cello tape! We called and called and finally got an answer and they didn’t care at all about the safety of our baby! Absolutely no support or help! We will be escalating this further.

0 You have already voted! Rating:2 I arrived over the Easter weekend and unfortunatley the hire company I use had not reserved me a car and had none in stock for the timeframe required. Thankfully avis did. They did (despite having a full forecourt of cars) say that there was only a select few. Mercedes being the choice at £329.00 exc vat for the 3 days (Saturday from 130pm to Monday at 6pm).

whilst the initial rental charge online might seem competitive. You are stung with additional charges when you return the car. I was charging additional £133 for fuel city surplus charge and a £74 plus VAT cleaning charge after a weeks rental. Taking a small car rental to £335 plus £55 worth of VAT
Rip off and they’re not interested when you ring up to discuss the additional charges And your dissatisfaction.
Terrible customer service and a complete rip-off.

I said it seems steep, only to be told its computer generated.
Another gentleman walked in with the same plight and went to another agent, he wanted the car for a day longer and was quoted £298.00.
I asked the agent why and he said its all automated. He tried my quote again but it was the same price.
I then looked on avis online to see it quote me for a smaller car at 185.00 Inc vat.
The man didn’t have an answer. Unfortunately there is a delay in booking online to when it reaches the branch. Given my time restraints I was stuck with the deal which the Avis representative new.
